1. What is the HLB Credit Card Referral Program?
It is an online credit card referral program for existing HLB customers (“Referrer”) to refer their friends and family (“Referee”) who do not have an HLB Credit Card to apply for a new HLB Credit Card by sharing the generated Referrer’s unique Referral Code via WhatsApp. Referrer will be tagged to the Referee(s) and will be rewarded only if the Referee(s) makes the Credit Card application online with the Referrer’s Referral Code and successfully approved by HLB according to the terms of this promotion.
2. Who is eligible to participate in the HLB Credit Card Referral Program?
All existing-to-bank customers who have HLB Connect and a valid and active principal Credit Card and/or individual/joint current account/current account-i and/or savings account/savings account-i (“CASA/CASA-i”) with HLB and/or Hong Leong Islamic Bank Berhad (“HLISB”) (collectively referred to as “the Bank”) can participate in the Promotion by introducing Referee(s) to HLB Credit Cards.
3. Are the supplementary credit cardholders with HLB eligible to participate in the HLB Credit Card Referral Program?
Supplementary HLB Credit Cardholders (without an individual/joint CASA/CASA-i account with the Bank or principal HLB Credit Card) are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.
4. Are the joint CASA/CASA-i holders with the Bank eligible to participate in the HLB Credit Card Referral Program?
Yes, the joint CASA/CASA-i holders with the Bank are eligible to participate in the Promotion.
5. What is a Referral Code?
A Referral Code is a 10-character unique combination of alphabets and/or numbers which is used to track the origin of a referral to match the referrers to the referees. The Referrer can share their Referral Code via WhatsApp.
6. How and when the reward will be credited to the Referrer?
The qualified referrers will be notified by HLB by way of posting the list of qualified customers (masked names, masked NRIC and reward entitlement) on this promotion page and the cashback reward will be credited into the qualified referrers’ CASA/CASA-i or credit card account within 90 days from the last calendar day of each promotion month where the application is successfully approved. For the specific reward/prize fulfilment date, please refer to the Terms and Conditions.
7. Is Referrer’s Referral Code applicable to principal and supplementary HLB Credit Card application?
It’s applied for principal Credit Card application through HLB Website or Connect Online only.
