Samsung Pay is a secure and easy-to-use mobile payment service which can be used to make purchases nearly everywhere. Samsung Pay uses new proprietary technology called Near Field Communication (NFC) to make mobile payments more accessible to both merchants and consumers.

Where can I use Samsung Pay?
Samsung Pay is accepted almost anywhere that you can swipe or tap your debit or credit card. It makes transactions super easy. Just swipe up to launch Samsung Pay, authentic with your biometrics or PIN, and tap your phone on the terminal to pay.
Which Hong Leong Card can I register on Samsung Pay?
All Hong Leong Credit or Debit/-i Cards for consumers (including both Visa & Mastercard) can be used on Samsung Pay. You can add up to a maximum of ten (10) Cards in each device.
Can I add my Card to more than one Samsung Pay app on separate devices?
No, you can only add an eligible Hong Leong Visa/Mastercard Credit or Debit/-i Card to one Samsung Pay Mobile Device.
How secure are transactions on Samsung Pay?
Your Card in Samsung Pay is protected by your biometrics or PIN. For security purposes, you must authorize the payment with your biometrics or PIN when you make a purchase using Samsung Pay. A digital card number, separate and unique from your plastic card account number, is used to make a purchase with Samsung Pay. All of your payment information will be stored securely on your phone using Samsung KNOX. Your plastic card details are never shown in the app or shared with the merchant when you make payments.
